El Encuentro Jim Lee feelings that I probably doFrom the Artist Artists have been the voice, the eyes and ears of the community, but have also kept our spirits alive and really shown the beauty of our culture. I think thats why I feel so proud to be a Mexicana because we have this legacy of activism in the arts, beauty in the arts. Our roots are ancient, and the arts are highly respected in our community. Im proud to be part of that whole. Excerpted from http: www. galeriadelaraza. org eng
