Hunter Shack Size:XS The southernmost of three malthouseA single window frames a quiet pastoral landscape through weathered timbers, the corrugated iron roof above it rusted to a deep brown red. This isolated dwelling sits somewhere in the Hunter Valley, one of the smaller structures in the series: a slab and iron vernacular form that once kept out a Monaro wind or a Hunter winter with equal indifference. Part of the A Place to Call Home series.
