Walnut-Framed Dinner Gong with Brass Gong old charm Height: 127Dinner gongs became popular in the Victorian and Edwardian eras as a way for households to summon family members for meals, particularly in larger homes. This gong has withstood the test of time and use very well. The gong sound is a (magical abracadabra like) clear, mid range resonance.
